Specializing in Shallow Water Drift Fishing in the Lower Laguna Madre Area, Blast to Cast will work hard to provide you with a fun filled fishing experience in the clear waters along South Padre Island.
Our knowledge of the Laguna Madre area will allow you fish from north of Arroyo City to the South Bay System of South Padre Island targeting primarily redfish, trout, flounder, and snook.
Trips are typically 5 hours long, and amatuer to avid anglers are welcome, including families, corporate parties, or a couple of buddies getting out of the office for the weekend. Blast to Cast can also accomodate special requests for events, such as birthdays and reunions.
All bait, tackle, fish cleaning, ice, and bottle water will be provided. Mike Knox, our fishing expert, prefers to fish with light tackle spinning rods using artificial lures, cut bait, and/or live bait. Guests are also are allowed to bring their own equipment, if desired.
All Anglers should bring:
- Appropriate Texas fishing license
- Salt water stamp endorcements
- Disposable water-proof camera
- Polarized sunglasses
- Dressed appropriate for the weather
- Any snacks and drinks desired
